Halloween 2026: How to Celebrate? The Complete All-in-One Guide

Halloween 2026: How to Celebrate? The Complete All-in-One Guide

Jack-o'-lanterns, ghosts, bats, spiderwebs, and candy packed to the brim.

Halloween is right around the corner again.

At this time of year, streets and alleys all take on a unique Halloween atmosphere. Some people start picking out special costumes, some prepare pumpkins and decorations for their homes, and others have already started looking into what kind of candy to prepare this year.

But if you don't want to use the same cookie-cutter ready-made decorations every year, why not do it yourself and add some creativity that is uniquely yours to this year's Halloween?

From a personalized candy bucket, to a unique Halloween costume, to decorations for your home, party supplies, and small gifts for friends, there are actually many things you can design and make yourself.

This year, why not use our UV DTF and DTF printers to elevate your DIY game?

Candy and Candy Buckets—Neither Can Be Left Out

When it comes to Halloween, how could there be no candy?

For children getting ready to go trick-or-treating, candy is almost the most anticipated part of Halloween.

Halloween candy is eye-catching enough just by its appearance: eyeball gummies topped with colorful “pupils,” sweet-and-sour and chewy; ghost marshmallows pure white all over, with wavy hems, melting in your mouth; pumpkin chocolates embossed with ridges, revealing a rich caramel or pumpkin spice filling when bitten into; witch hat lollipops in sour apple flavor; skull hard candies with the slightly bitter, sweet aftertaste of blackberry or licorice; and orange-and-yellow candy corn, where honey and marshmallow intertwine, sweet in a direct and unrestrained way.

But besides the candy itself, the container holding the candy can also become part of the holiday atmosphere.

Create a “floating pattern” effect on the candy jar: a little ghost rests on the rim of the jar, as if just peeking out from the pile of candy; a black cat silhouette “shows through” from inside the transparent jar, its eyes glowing with a faint golden shimmer; minimal white line-art pumpkins, bats, and spiderwebs wrap around the jar, as if floating on the surface of the candy.

If it is a candy bucket for children, simply decorate it as a “witch’s cauldron,” with bubbling magic potion spilling over the rim, and the colorful candy inside like a pot of sweet magic being brewed.

If you are planning to host a Halloween party, you can also prepare several candy jars with different themes and place them at the door or on the party table.

Even an ordinary candy bucket can become so special with crystal stickers made with MU1730 UV DTF printer, so this clever idea of transforming everyday small items with patterns can definitely be extended to every corner of life.

Halloween Costumes Are a Must-Have Element

How could Halloween be without special costumes?

Skeletons, black cats, witches… these classic Halloween elements can all once again become inspiration for costume design.

Try an “element mashup” to create unexpected visual collisions.

You can put a skeleton in a suit and tie, or have a mummy wrapped in colorful yarn, paired with the bold lines and halftone dots of American retro comics, instantly turning into a streetwear style.

You can also try merging a pumpkin with a cat silhouette to design a round, chubby “pumpkin cat,” or adding bat wings onto everyday coffee cups, umbrellas, or even sneakers to create whimsical anthropomorphic figures.

You can also combine maple leaves and acorns with tiny ghosts and bats to create a soothing feel like an autumn fairy tale.

From simple text to richly colored, intricately detailed Halloween illustrations, everything can be designed according to your own ideas.

If you are celebrating Halloween with family, friends, or even fur babies, this is an even better opportunity—you can design a set of themed outfits, so that everyone’s pattern details are different, but the overall visual style is highly unified.

For example, ghost-themed group outfits, witch-themed bestie outfits, matching owner-and-pet outfits for going out, or simple personalized Halloween text apparel.

And these whimsical ideas are actually very simple to bring to life; there is no need to specially buy a complete set of ready-made costumes. A simple short-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie, paired with the M1630 Pro DTF printer, can let you show what you can do.

You can print directly using DTF film, making this unexpectedly simple and letting you easily wear your exclusive creativity.

In short, there is no need to stick to horror. As long as you freely cross-combine classic Halloween symbols with everyday objects, pop culture, cute pets, or geometric shapes, you can create clothing patterns that are both festive and full of novel personality.

Halloween Party

A fun Halloween party doesn't necessarily need complicated decorations.

Some simple little details can make the whole party more atmospheric.

For example, prepare a cup with a unique pattern for each person, make decorations in a consistent style for drink bottles, prepare Halloween-themed name cards for the table, or make personalized decorations for cakes and desserts.

Following these little ideas, the entrance can be an old wooden board with a minimalist white-line sticker saying "Welcome to the Witch's Party," with a jack-o'-lantern placed next to it. Then take a transparent storage box and stick bat stickers on it to use as a "sign-in jar," letting guests drop in small slips of paper with their names, and also do a lucky draw. Hang an acrylic door sign with a black cat silhouette at the door, turn on a small light at night, and the atmosphere instantly appears.

As for personalized cups, why not directly use crystal stickers to transform glass cups at home: stick little ghosts, pumpkins, or spiderwebs on the cup body, and insert a small bat flag into the straw.

Seat cards can be designed in pumpkin shapes; name cards on the table can be cut from black cardstock into various shapes with names written on them. Insert small toothpick signs into cakes and desserts, with ghosts stuck on the signs; draw simple lines on cookies with icing. Stick a ring of spiderwebs around a candle jar, put an electronic candle inside, and use it as a table atmosphere light.

Interactive games and photo areas can also be completely transformed from everyday discarded items. Plastic bottles with eyes stuck on become ghost bowling pins; cardboard boxes with holes cut out and pumpkins, skulls, and bats stuck on become a throwing scoreboard; stick a ring of small pumpkins around the edge of a mirror, and decorate your phone case with Halloween stickers; find a black cloth for a background, stick on spiderweb silhouettes, and stick white-line ghosts around an old picture frame to turn it into a handheld photo prop.

A few small details can make the whole night full of magic. After the party is over, when they see the photos, they will all remember that night's dark carnival.

A Special Halloween Gift

A special Halloween gift is an exclusive memory made just for a certain friend.

You can make a "Halloween Eve limited-edition gift box": find a small wooden box or tin box, and put three things inside: a bottle of "witch's potion" you personally mixed (your friend's favorite drink, with a handwritten label saying "Drink this and you'll feel happy"); a pack of "ghost marshmallows" wrapped in kraft paper; and a retro Polaroid made from a photo of the two of you, with a code that only you two understand written on the back. Cut out moons and bats from black cardstock for the outside of the box, tie it with twine, and it becomes a gift full of surprises as soon as it's opened.

If your friend likes quiet, you can give a handmade "ghost dreamcatcher": use black embroidery thread to weave a small web, hang a few little ghosts made of white gauze, and hang a small bell at the bottom. Hang it by the window; when the wind blows, the ghosts sway gently and the bell rings softly, as if saying "good night" for you. You can also attach a card that says, "Tonight's nightmares are its responsibility to eat."

If your friend is a movie fan, give a "Halloween Movie Night" experience box: a handwritten "movie ticket" that says "This ticket can be redeemed for one two-person horror movie night, snacks are on me"; and a handwritten watchlist from you, from classics to hidden gems. The person who receives it not only gets a gift, but also a promise.

A special Halloween gift can be handwritten, customized, something that needs to be completed together, or even a little bit of a joke. As long as that person can laugh when they open it, the gift is a success.

Cherish Special Moments

On Halloween night, the excitement belongs to everyone.

When you hand that gift to your friend and see the moment they pause for a second and then smile, that excitement truly finds its place to belong.

Those thoughtful details—a handwritten card, a small jar with a pumpkin sticker, a code that only the two of you understand—are actually all saying the same thing: in all the holidays, I thought of you.

Life is ordinary most of the time, but Halloween gives us a reason to be a little more exaggerated, a little more mysterious, and a little more childish, to hide the care we are usually too embarrassed to express inside a ghost marshmallow or a bottle of "witch's potion" and hand it out.

And the person who receives the gift will probably, on some ordinary day, suddenly remember what you handed them that night and smile without even realizing it.

That is already the best gift.
